What a mind boggling poem! Neneps! It is also very emotional. I can almost feel the quiet sorrow that the woman in this poem is going through. The fact that she asks the smae question again and again reinforces her fears...I don;t think she doubts him but she fears the inevitable and the unpredictable.
She holds him in the highest order. The red powder symbolizes her marriage to him...but the story's a little vague there. I don't really understand her social status here.

The question is whether he's going to introduce her to his friends and relatives come December? We shall have to wait and see. That will really prove if he's serious about her. She trusts him with her life for god's sake. We can never tell about men and what their true feelings are.

She's his wife and she's asking him who she is to him? She must have a pretty good reason for asking him that.
I wonder why she has to come see him in December? Are they separated? So sad.
