Sorry seems to be the hardest word
but it's used the easiest when one is hurt
Sorry is a safety net
when things between people go very bad
I am sorry...
truly am sorry
with what happened between we
between us
You didn't have to forgive me
but you did because you love me so
but if you didn't forgive me,
I wouldn't know where else to go
to get your absolute pardon
for what I had done
with the things I said...with me
I could sense it somehow
although you kept your cool
and didn't say anything out loud
I felt bad enough for being a bitch
on the phone with you
for hurting you with my words
but at that time....it didn't seem that worse
it became bad when what I did
I thought back deeply about it.
But now that you've forgiven me
I feel so relieved...believe me!
To know that everything's okay
between us completely.
They say love means
never having to say you are sorry
but I beg to differ in this situation of mine
for you are a man I love and respect the most
and to receive your forgiveness is divine
I shan't take my apology in vain
this I assure you my love
for sorry is not something to use
like an over used, worn out glove!!
