Hello to you my great white one eyed snake!
You are unique because you only have one eye
You’ve dwelled outside the cave for far too long
But now the cave is open for your romantic throng
The cave in which you will go
Was shut down so many years ago
I want to see you slither through
The narrow,slippery interior of the cave
And work your wonderful magic
To thrill my curiosity and
my undefined logic
You have rested too much somewhere outside
It’s time to nestle inside the cave I provide
For your nourishment and deserving comfort
A home of your very own to trumpet
You are beautiful in my eyes
The way you look just mystifies
Me …your place to be
Your trunk is long and white in colour
Shaped just perfectly by Mother Nature
I shall call you a predator
But you only predate me
Let’s call it a conjoining victory
Hey great white one eyed snake
Do you know that you look great?
You haven’t slued inside the cave yet
How would you like to be my only pet?
There is a splendiferous blue bulging vein that
Flows all the way down your body
I can't wait for you to show it to me

For it doesn’t kill or hurt me nor cause any doom

It will sustain me…flourish in me
Perhaps create a life inside me
Oh! My great white one eyed snake
Know that you only belong to me
My own creature of unspoken delights
I never want to leave you out of my sight
Destiny will bring me to you
To find you and take good care of you
For I am your custodian and
Will make all your dreams come true
You are my only great white snake
Mine to keep and mine to take

Hello, I am glad I came by this blog. What an interesting post! It reminds me of the saying, once beaten twice shy...and I see you are a rushdie fan as well and Im reading one of his books, the satanic verses, have you read this and what are your views? What an unusual poem about a snake. There are some things that I don't understand about this poem though.
This snake sounds like a magical,mystical snake. What are you talking about Neneps? Your pet? Why can't you just get a dog?

You are a genius Neneps. A beautiful poem that depicts everything as a phallic symbol and of sexual union. The snake is a great metaphor that you've used to describe a phallus and the cave, as a female pleasure dome. Great work.
