The Godlike Man

I don't believe that God exists
you know that for sure,
for I've told you many,many times
that God is NEVER here.

But having said that,
there's something I must tell you
and that is if there is a God at all...
He must definitely be like you.

I say this with no reservations
for what I see, I see,
that you have risen above my expectations
of what a man, my spouse should be.

I believe in your true love for me ,
the only thing I know is real.
It surpasses everything else in history,
a love I most strongly feel.

There is a kind of undefined innocence
that I see in you,
it doesn't have to be angelic
but the essence of you that
is projected to me
is largely psychedelic.

There exists kindness in your eyes
and there's the soothing of your voice.
Mild-mannered in personality,
you amaze me!
You make the impossible possible for me!
You excite me,motivate me and make an
honest woman out of me.
You are the light that shines inside of me.
You make LIFE LIVE for me.
I wake up in the morning whispering your name,
isn't that the same
as calling out God's name?

Many a times you've denied what I tell you
and you always say that you are the servant of God.
But no matter what you tell me...
in you I do see God.
Don't you inspire me?
Haven't you changed me?
You've made me so happy
isn't that what God's supposed
to be doing to me?

So let me please tell you that I am so lucky
to have your love all just for me.
I believe in you
and I'll walk that line for you,
you make things happen for me,
you are ABOVE me,
worship you I will and I can
for you to me are the godlike man.
