I am a happy individual and I LOVE life. Some people say that I am too passionate about the things that are dear to me but I say..."Hey! You only live once!" I love to write about very simple things like the people and things that I have observed, childhood and teenage memories, about love and marriage etc. I am also into quite alot of poetry writing these days. Enjoy reading my fellow readers and fans. ;)

The Treasure

Honey! Within me is hidden

a treasure that's not forbidden

to you... to discover and see

for your pleasure and eyes only

It may not seem that much

because you had seen quite a bunch

but this treasure is unique

within it comes TRUE LOVE'S feat

There were pirates before who

had opened its chest
but needless to say

it was just a frivolous attempt

It's given to you without any reservations

for you are its ONLY owner

and its endless salvation

You are the very key

that can unlock its hidden secrets

the treasure's the lock to which

the key has to be inserted

What makes a treasure?

It's just not gold coins and diamonds and pearls

there are other things that are priceless in this world

So darling, open your eyes and come seek me

bring with you no prejudice but a sense of discovery

for I belong to YOU not him or he

Find me, open me and enjoy me

let me make you super rich in pleasure

I may not be what the world tends to measure

but I'll only be yours...your very own TREASURE.

I LOVE this poem Neneps. You certainly know how to camouflage your messages well within your poem.
Your message here is to never judge a book by its cover for you'll never know what it has to offer. At least I think that is what you are trying to say but perhaps on a higher scale, you're just trying to say that nobody's perfect and everyone has a chance to start life again on a clean slate.
