Perhaps I feel too much and think you feel the same

t you tell me ...that your way of loving me
is not the same as my loving you repeatedly
There is NO DROUGHT in your love for me
that of course I can see
but the little things that I want from you
you don't seem to understand or do you?
It hurts sometimes when you expect some things
but you don't get what you want from him
I don't expect expensive gifts or flowers and cards
all I want is that what I ask of you, you take heart
I asked you for your photos and our girls photos too
I asked you to write me a hand-written letter
but even that you have YET to do
It's easy to promise when words are so quick to come
but when it comes to fulfilling that promise
months pass by and NOTHING is done
All I hear are excuses and justifications
I feel so disappointed and not at rest
that's when I feel that I am to you
just your second best
I have never failed to do the things that you've asked of me
no matter how inconvenient or time consuming they may be
I make sure that I do it for there are no excuses or questions
I take the effort because you to me are very IMPORTANT
I love you and it goes without saying
sometimes I am so tired when I have to you keep REMINDING
of the little things that you should ALREADY BY NOW KNOW
and not wait for me to say,"I told you so."
You don't know what I've done to make things happen for us
I don't wish to discuss it either because the past is the past
All I ask of you darling is that you at least listen and TAKE NOTE
of the LITTLE THINGS that matter to me and this I quote...
"People who matter to you make them your priority...
no matter how busy you are, they are your VIP!" Unquote.

Aah! So sad to read this poem. Hope that the guy listens and understands. It's hard to find a woman who is not materialistic. All she's asking for are photos and a hand written letter from the guy. How hard is that to do?

A very candid account of this woman's feelings and she amplifies it well for her lover to know and understand.
I can she that she has unconditional love for her man. Her needs are very simple. Hope her lover understands her.

Sad poem but it is written well. Somehow she's trying to scream out loud regarding her inner most feelings for her lover to know. The truth is better than lies and deceit.

I understand exactly what this woman in the poem is going through. Little things mean so much to us women. Somehow the men just don't get that! What kind of creatures are they?
Her needs are so simple...hell she's not even asking him to give her expensive gifts. How romantic that she wants to receive a hand written letter from her lover. E-mail takes away the personal touch of writing a letter.
So to this guy...if you are reading this...please write your girlfriend a nice hand written letter and attach some photos of yourself and don't forget to POST it!
