Last night I was upset with you
because I felt that I'm not important to you
I was bitter, angry and a little sad
that you made me feel like your second best
I took the trouble to do what you told me
you said to ring you when I completed my story
I did what you asked of me
I rang you and said.' Please read it...'
You said that you would but you didn't actually
I thought you did but you said you didn't to me
Can you imagine how I must have felt
when the one person I love so much just couldn't give a damn
The worst is when I found out you had the time
to watch your TV programmes and have a good time
here I was thinking you had read what I wrote for you
when all this time you put it aside to watch the tube
What was most painful was that I took the effort
to write some things for you that I thought were important
I made time for you despite the late hours
but you couldn't even spend twenty minutes to read what I'd written!!
I know you had a tough week and you deserve your treat
of watching your favourite programmes on your TV
I'm just frustrated that you couldn't spare some time for me
just to read what I wrote for you most lovingly
You promised me that you won't take me for granted
and there you go my love just doing it again
your promise so fast broken
it makes me feel so sad and abandoned
I will NEVER do that to you
because you are my priority, you are my VIP!
you know that...and it's true
because that much I love you
There is a saying that goes like this...
"Never allow someone to be your priority
while allowing yourself to be their option"
I have made you my priority
You are most important to me
You just cannot FORGET
that someone is your PRIORITY
Forgetting that someone is important
especially when she's your wife is most defiant!!
I cannot accept this and just forget what's happened
especially from you my dear husband
When it comes to you I'll go the distance
never forgetting a moment
that you to me are most IMPORTANT
Yes, I have my things to do, places to go and people to meet
but NEVER for an instant am I that busy
for above all else...
YOU are my number one priority
Again and again I spill my heart out to you
and let this poem be a reminder honey
that I can tolerate anything bad from you
but if again you my husband treat me
like I'm just another somebody
Know truly that you have 'murdered' ME.

Neneps...here's my tip. DON'T make your husband a priority. Your problem is that you love him too much and go all out to do things for him. Why should you do these things for a man who just takes you for granted?
