there will be no slimming centres
Goodness! There won't be a need for doctors!
For every illness they say is the cause
of OBESITY and nothing else of course
let's say goodbye to slimming pills
and laxatives, miracle cures and fat burners
but is that the case if weight loss isn't difficult?
We all know it's hard for fat to just go away and melt
The battle of the bulge, most of us fight
is not something pleasant and quite alright
they say lose the weight so easily to us
but can they lose a hundred pounds first?
You go through blood, sweat and tears
and it's just not the exercise and diet
mental torture comes into play
your weight loss regime can easily be swayed
You work so hard and expect good results
but don't be surprised if you GAIN a pound or two
then there is something we call a weight plateau
it'll take forever to get through
The secret here is for you to keep on going
perseverance is all in the knowing

it's for my health and for my true love
I'll feel better if he sees me smaller
then me compared to him and I'm larger
It's a woman's thing, he'll never understand
although he tells me he loves me for who I am
he loves my body just the way it is
despite the cellulite, stretch marks, loose skin and
other imperfections
The battle of the bulge, I've fought it repeatedly
and every time I had lost...
but this time victory is for me
he's in my life now, nothing can bring me down
I'm determined never to fall
I want to wear the winning crown
he motivates me, he drives me
he doesn't have to say anything
his love for me does everything
I will loose the weight and never look back
I'll never gain it again
I'm on the right track
as long as he loves me and is there for me
I am on my path to weight loss history!!

I hope it's not you because I imagine you to be petite,slim and sexy. To tell you the truth, I get put off by plus sized women. I mean, I prefer petite ones. They are easier to handle in bed... besides, I'd like to carry my women when I ...you get the picture? I wouldn't want a woman larger than I and if she has cellulite,stretch marks and loose skin...it'll definitely turn me off.
Let me tell you a secret. ALL MEN PREFER petite women. They secretly want a bombshell for their girlfriend or wife. It is hard to accept for most women but it is the truth.
I wish this lady all the best in her weight loss. She had better lose the weight if she wants to keep her 'true love'. Men get diverted all the time. Her true love can get attracted to other more slender women. This is a true and tested fact. Don't make him regrett having to wake up next to a woman whom he'll be turned off by. He may not even desire her anymore.
I hope that you are petite and well toned Neneps. That is how I picture you. I am getting a little scared if you are actually plus sized. I feel I can't have feelings for you if you are like that and no matter how talented a writer you maybe. I will be put off by your appearance. I admit it wholeheartedly! My woman MUST have a great body and I must feel proud to walk next to her.

So now I know roughly the kind of figure you have Neneps. At least you are a working progress. Good luck on your weight loss programme. It's good that your motivation is your lover. It should really help you reach your goal.
However, I just want you to know that your lover should love you no matter how you look like...big or small because at the end of the day, it is the ESSENCE of Neneps that he should love and not the outer part of Neneps. I hope he knows that. I really hope so.

Fighting the battle of the bulge is never easy dear. I have tried it so many times. I once weighed in at 340lbs at my heaviest. My fiancee who was the love of my life left me for a very much smaller woman just 2 months before we were to be married.
I was miserable,depressed and nearly wanted to kill myself. Then, my best friend came to live with me and she urged me to pick myself up and love myself.
Months later, I went for a gastirc bypass surgery. It wasn't easy for me but within 18 months of the surgery, I weighed in at 140lbs and I have maintained it eversince.
During my weight loss programme, my personal trainer helped me alot and was very encouraging and he fell in love with me for the person that I am. We've been married for 6 years now and life is so wonderful with him.
I heard that my ex-fiancee has had 2 divorces eversince he left me for another woman. That's the best news that I had ever received.
Good luck girl. I hope your boyfriend loves you for who you are. That's all that matters. At the end of the day...his love for you and your love for him matters the most...that is what which will last throughout your relationship.

I have been reading your poem regularly Neneps and I think most comments here are just missing a point. SEX AND PHYSICALITY IS JUST PART OF LOVE AND ITS DEFINITELY NOT LOVE..
If a person loves somebody sexuality and sex come much later. I think love starts with sharing and caring so I don't believe this crap that a haigh sized woman has no place in the world specially if she is good looking like you and I know how cute and good looking you are and certainly you are not overweight.
