even when you suffer, your pain I feel most of all
when you feel like you are done
and the darkness has won

I am there with you and we'll get lost together
until the light comes pouring through
for you are not alone
I am there with YOU
It's as though I'm in you and you are in me
we both see what you and I see
you've told me repeatedly that I am in your blood
that too I feel, and you flow in me too and flood
my body freely...
Oh baby, I ache in many ways that you'll never know
It's only that I'm not there in the flesh to go
but fight your battles for you I would if I could
because I love you so much and it's understood
that I'd give you the world just for your smile
sweetheart, you are not alone and I am there with you

I find this poem very inspirational and the photograph complements it. The woman is so in love with her lover that she's willing to face his challenges for him. Very hard to find someone like her...very rarely do you find a woman like that. He's gifted.

I was so touched reading this poem and I was a little emotional too. I went through some tough times a few years ago and my wife wasn't supportive of me. We divorced of course but after reading your poem, how I wish she was like you!! You are willing to stand by your man no matter what...that is LOVE.

I was very saddened reading this poem and at the same time very envious of the male character in this poem.
The female character must love him so much to want to have to feel so much of emotions for him.
Her love for him overflows in every word written in this poem.

Such a touching poem. In many ways I envy the guy in this poem. I truly hope that he loves and cherishes the lady back.
CHEMMISTER
There is a Michael Jackson song with the same title. He wrote that song then for his ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley.
This poem is so much better than his song. I can see that the woman in question goes all out to comfort her man and she's willing to bear his problems if she can.
