I am a happy individual and I LOVE life. Some people say that I am too passionate about the things that are dear to me but I say..."Hey! You only live once!" I love to write about very simple things like the people and things that I have observed, childhood and teenage memories, about love and marriage etc. I am also into quite alot of poetry writing these days. Enjoy reading my fellow readers and fans. ;)

In The Pursuit of Happiness

I just want to be HAPPY,HAPPY,HAPPY
I've found you my LOVE, most truly
No more a life merely breathing and living
with YOU, life will be HAPPY, exciting,
and full of love-making!!

Am I selfish because I know what I want and go for it?
Am I now the bitch who's inconsiderate and imperfect?
I have no choice but to trample on others
All in THE PURSUIT of HAPPINESS

Consequences there'll be to my planned actions
but what's the use of satisfying society's emotions?
I'd be living a life of lies... unhappy forever
I'd rather live a truthful life than die a LIAR

PEOPLE go ahead ! Judge me to your heart's content
I don't give a damn for I have made my stand
I WILL to him go and LIVE my life
for all I want is to be his WIFE...
NOTHING more than just his WIFE.

Beautiful photo. So what is she waiting for? Just go to him and live your life. Be happy.

Beautiful bride. A very vocal poem I must say. She should go to him.
Hope she does mate.

She wants to be his wife but does he want her? I wonder. She's going against the flow of life to be with him...hopefully she's happy.

It's nice to know that the woman in this poem doesn't want anything else but be the wife of her lover. Women nowadays are in pursuit of their careers and other more interesting things. To just be the wife of someone is no longer satisfactory or enough.
It's hard to find a woman like this lady in the poem.

Well perhaps this poem is fiction after all...or this woman is from a very rural area.

I pity the woman in this poem. There is something about her that's telling me that she's in trouble somwhow. Maybe I am wrong. I hope that she marries him and is happy.

I don't know about this poem. Don't know whether the man is serious about this lady who wants to marry him. She is serious no doubt...enough to not care about what society may think of her.

I am only doubtful about the man. This poem is all about her point of view. What does the man think? We don't know.

TRUTH IS THE HIGHEST VIRTUE; HIGHER STILL IS TRUTHFUL LIVING.

Go ahead and live your life of truth. Don't betray your conscience. At the end of it all...heaven and hell is here on earth. You and your lover have a chance to live a happy life.

Society will not be there to wipe away your tears and magically fix your present life of lies. Why bother about pleasing society after all?

Please yourself. That is the truth. You cannot see the rainbow without a little rain. Don't bother...go to your lover.

How do you come up with a poem like this Neneps? You are sending out a very strong message here.

Perhaps encouraging women to follow their hearts' desires. A woman has the right to choose who is going to be her husband...not have one chosen for her?

That's what I think this poem is about. ANyone else care to comment?

This lady in the poem should think about building a career and upgrading herself. How boring just being someone's wife? Doesn't she want an indentity of her own?

We burnt our bras in the sixties for our freedom to choose how we live...this woman looks like she wants to be his slave by marrying him.

COme on! This is not the middle ages. This is the 21st century man.

To DISGUSTED,
There is nothing wrong in wanting to be someone's wife. That's the woman in this poem's prerogative. She has chosen how she wants to live. She's deeply in love with her lover. Read between the lines. I think that it is really romantic that she speaks about her desire to go to him. You know nothing about her and you have no right to judge her.
