I am a happy individual and I LOVE life. Some people say that I am too passionate about the things that are dear to me but I say..."Hey! You only live once!" I love to write about very simple things like the people and things that I have observed, childhood and teenage memories, about love and marriage etc. I am also into quite alot of poetry writing these days. One Night In Karachi

One night in
Karachi

Just on the northern shores of the Arabian sea
A place that she can be she

One night in Karachi
The roaring traffic boom
She sees flowers that bloom

One night in Karachi
The city's alive
The crows crowd the sky

One night, yes in Karachi
Everyone's busy
So is she...

One night somewhere in Karachi
The smell of jasmine looms
She enters his room

One night in Karachi
Out of his window on the fourth floor she looks
To stay away from the crooks

One night in Karachi
She waits,
She waits...

One night in Karachi
At last comes he
She is free

One night in Karachi
Love finds her
She's with her lover

One night in Karachi
It's now her home and she's she.

Wow! After reading this poem of yours I have decided to include Karachi as my 'must visit' destinations for next year. Karachi sounds like a romantic city...the smell of jasmine flowers? Despite all the trouble we have heard in the news about what happened in Karachi recently, I am convinced that this city has so much to offer. The people want peace just like all of us. Good poem.
